This is a sample Home Page named demo_home.htm

To customize a Document Viewer home navigation page you can edit this .HTM file or create your own. The Document Viewer window is always on top when open. Use a PanelMate variable-sized control button that writes to the local scratchpad variable [sp,docview] to open Document Viewer. Many types of files are capable of being opened in the Document Viewer window by using hyperlinks or the Open File button on the toolbar. By using hyperlinks, you can display HTML web pages, and PDF, TXT, and JPG files in the Document Viewer window, provided the files are located on a networked file server or Intranet web server that can be accessed by the PanelMate over your Ethernet network.

Configuring Document Viewer

Open File (open dialog)

The Document Viewer Configuration utility (Start>Programs> PanelMate Software>Document Viewer>Document Viewer Config) lets the user select the Home Page, create the “URL Address/File Name” list for the list box, enable/disable the toolbar icons, and modify the DDE link topic/item used to open the Document Viewer window.  Saving the configuration creates a DCV file that can be used in the PMStart.cmd file to launch Document Viewer with your configured settings.
